Who we are

Faculté des métiers is the vocational training centre of the Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Ille-et-Vilaine and Morbihan, created over 40 years ago to help young people access meaningful careers through hands-on, work-based learning.

We specialise in initial vocational training through apprenticeship, from lower secondary to Master’s level, and welcome more than 2,300 apprentices each year across five campuses in Brittany:

  • Rennes (Bruz) – Campus de Ker Lann
  • Saint-Malo – Avenue de Marville
  • Javené – Parc de la Grande Marche
  • Lorient – Quai des Indes
  • Vannes – Zone de Laroiseau

As part of the wider training mission of our Chambers of Commerce, we also work closely with CCI Formation Ille-et-Vilaine Morbihan, which delivers continuing education and upskilling programmes for adult learners.

We offers dual system training from French middle school (EQF level 3) to Master’s Degree (EQF level 7). Our on-going presence and support to companies and professional organisations have enabled us to become a famous and recognized stakeholder within the training landscape, whether through vocational training or via continuing professional education for adults.

International mobility at a glance

Each year, we send over 200 apprentices abroad as part of our Erasmus+ programme.
Destinations include: Denmark, Spain, Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands, Malta, and more.

Our staff also engage in international training experiences — sharing and improving their methods by teaching and learning alongside their peers.
